Why I do in that way? Because, stitch a photo is not similar with print it on a fabric with the flosses, by hands. A cross stitch is always work of art. The stitchers and the designers work together to make it happened. As a designer, I initialize the process and will be finished by the stitcher.

The core process of designing is simplify the colors. A photo has millions colors, while a cross stitch design limited on hundreds. The software helps this process. Needs a certain sense to run the tools. So with the same software maybe will get the different design if operated by other person. In these words, I said "not just converted" but do the designs.
